Vell hello fairly sane peoples; Say I'll bet you didn't know I know about radio announcing did you? Vell I don't. But I do treat a lot of crazy announcers and they do talk. From all zis babble one can learn a bit. So - I giff you what I got. Three facts for za microphone. 1. Face the microphone und do not move. No turning to order tea with an open microphone. 2. Talk quietly to one person ( preferabley a close friend or even a lover-imagined in your mind-really!) speak like you are talking in their ear. Zis part is za biggest secret. 3. If you keep forgetting, write it down. Do not make za sentences like asking a qvestion."Zat vas ZZTop? From tres Hombres?" Zat's it. Oh and if you vish za very low voice try smoking a package of cigarettes every day for a decade or two. Is zat dimple or what? Ya it is simple.
